Rules & waiver.
Last updated: April 2026
Every guest at Raven & Dragon signs a waiver before participating. This page covers our house rules and important health and safety information so you know what to expect. The full waiver document is available below as a PDF — you'll sign a copy at check-in.
Want to read the full waiver before your visit? Download the full Customer Waiver, Release of Liability, Assumption of Risk, and Media Release Agreement (PDF).
The PDF is the authoritative legal document. The summary on this page is provided for convenience only.
For minors: Anyone under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign the waiver on their behalf. The parent or guardian does not need to be present at the venue, but the signed waiver does.
§ 1.House rules
These keep everyone safe and having fun. Following them is a condition of participation.
Behavior
- Follow all posted rules and the instructions of our staff at all times.
- Use equipment only as demonstrated. If you're not sure how something works, ask.
- No reckless, unsafe, or disruptive behavior. This includes running into walls or other guests during VR sessions, deliberately damaging equipment, or interfering with other groups.
- Treat other guests and staff with respect.
- Guests under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to participate.
Arrival & check-in
- Arrive 15 minutes early to complete your waiver and safety briefing.
- Wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes. No high heels or flip-flops in VR areas.
- Secure long hair, remove dangling jewelry, and empty pockets of sharp items before entering free-roam VR.
What's not allowed
- Outside food or drink in the activity areas.
- Recording other guests without their consent.
- Bringing personal VR equipment to use in our space.
Consequences
Failure to follow these rules may result in removal from the premises without a refund. Our staff has full discretion to pause or end a session for safety reasons.
§ 2.Health & safety warnings
VR experiences may cause motion sickness, dizziness, nausea, disorientation, or loss of balance. Many of our experiences also include flashing lights, loud sounds, and intense immersive effects.
Participation is not recommended for individuals who:
- Are pregnant
- Have a history of seizures or epilepsy
- Have heart conditions or other serious medical conditions
- Are prone to motion sickness or vertigo
If any of these apply to you, please talk to us before booking — we may be able to recommend a different activity that's a better fit, or modify the experience.
If at any point during your visit you feel discomfort, dizziness, or distress, stop immediately and notify a staff member. There is no penalty for stopping a session early for health reasons; we'll work with you to find an alternative or issue a credit.
By participating, you confirm that you are physically and mentally capable of doing so. Our staff may decline or end participation at their sole discretion if they have safety concerns.
§ 3.What you'll be signing
The waiver you sign at check-in covers, in summary:
- Acknowledgment of risks inherent in VR and arcade activities.
- Health and safety warnings, including the conditions listed above.
- Assumption of risk — that you voluntarily choose to participate.
- Release of liability for Raven and Dragon Entertainment LLC, Bella Vista Enterprises LLC, and their staff and affiliates, to the fullest extent permitted by Arizona law.
- Indemnification for damages caused by your conduct.
- Agreement to follow rules and staff instructions.
- Parent/guardian consent for participants under 18.
- Media release for promotional photos and video, with an opt-out available.
